A. Drake's Poetry Publishing House

A. Drake’s Poetry Publishing House (ADPPH) is a poetry-based videogame combining elements of the adventure, RPG and puzzler genres. The player assumes the role of a poet writing to the specification of a publishing house and, accompanied by desk jockey and closeted poet Lilah, writes poems while interrogating the ideas of poetic freedom practice in a capitalist and consumerist society. It also explores the role of contemporary poetry as a continuation of tradition, as a vessel of personal expression and as a product in the industry.
